Areas of Practice

Ido has been practicing intellectual property law for over 15 years, focusing on patent prosecution in the electrical and mechanical arts (including the representation of clients in patent appeals and re-examination proceedings).  Ido’s practice covers a myriad of technologies, including telecommunication (e.g., wireless technologies such as 3G, LTE), secured communications, medical devices, computer-based inventions, electronic circuits, mechanical inventions, and many others.  Ido also has extensive experience in opinion preparation, transactional work (IP licenses), litigation (patent and contractual disputes), and trademark prosecution and litigation.

Professional Experience

Before joining Occhiuti & Rohlicek LLP, Ido practiced law at several prominent national law firms, where his practice emphasized patent prosecution in a wide range of technological areas, patent opinion work, transactional work, and litigation. Ido also worked at a Canadian national IP boutique in Toronto.

Ido is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, and Ontario, Canada.  He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.


Ido has represented pro bono clients in landlord/tenant disputes and in political asylum matters.  He is fluent in Hebrew.
